This palm-sized pot for palm-sized gardens is made by the craftsmen of Mashiko, a pottery town just north of Tokyo. The clay used in Mashiko ware is rich in silicic acid and iron with a high plasticity, making it easy to shape and highly fire-resistant. Unlike other pottery, no extra ingredients are added to the clay, which adds to the heaviness & thickness of the clay. To finish, a traditional Mashiko glaze is applied in colors that look great both inside and outside the house.
Comes with drainage holes and a matching saucer.
